【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethodfordeterminingtheshearbehaviourofanadhesiveinasinglelapjointbondedassemblywhensubjectedtoatensileforce.Thetestisperformedonspecimensconsistingofthick,rigidadherends,withashortlengthofoverlap,inordertoobtainthemostuniformdistributionofshearstressespossibleandtominimizeotherstressstateswhichinitiatefailure.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodetermine:?theshear-stressagainstshear-straincurvetofailureoftheadhesive;?theshearmodulusoftheadhesive;?otheradhesivepropertiesthatcanbederivedfromthestress/straincurvesuchasthemaximumshearstressandshearstrain;?theeffectoftemperature,environment,testspeed,etc.ontheseproperties.
