【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoobtainbenzenepurityonthebasisofimpuritiesnormallypresentinbenzeneandmaybeusedforfinalproductinspectionsandprocesscontrol.Thistestmethodwilldetectthefollowingimpurities:toluene,methylcyclopentane,n-hexane,2-methylhexane,cyclohexane,cyclopentane,2-methylpentane,2,3-dimethylpentane,3-methylhexane,n-heptane,methylcyclohexane,ethylcyclopentane,2,4-dimethylhexane,trimethylpentane,andotherswherespecificimpuritystandardsareavailable.Absolutepuritycannotbeaccuratelydeterminedifunknownimpuritiesarepresent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofspecificimpuritiesin,andthepurityofbenzeneforcyclohexanefeedstockbygaschromatography.1.2Thistestmethodhasbeenfoundapplicabletobenzeneintherangefrom99to100%purityandtoimpuritiesatconcentrationsof2to10000mg/kg.1.3Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications,resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,see7.1andSection8.
