【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesmethodsforthetesting,calibrationanduseofvolumetricinstrumentsmadefromglassinordertoobtainthebestaccuracyinuse.NOTETestingistheprocessbywhichtheconformityoftheindividualvolumetricinstrumentwiththeappropriatestandardisdetermined,culminatinginthedeterminationofitserrorofmeasurementatoneormorepoints.TheInternationalStandardsfortheindividualvolumetricinstrumentsincludeclausesonthedefinitionofcapacity;theseclausesdescribethemethodofmanipulationinsufficientdetailtodefinethecapacitywithoutambiguity.ThisInternationalStandardcontainssupplementaryinformation.Theproceduresareapplicabletovolumetricinstrumentswithnominalcapacitiesintherangeof0.1mlto10000ml.Thisinclude:single-volumepipettes(seeISO648)withoutsubdivisions;graduatedmeasuringpipettesanddilutionpipettes,withpartialorcompletesubdivisions(seeISO835);burettes(seeISO385);volumetricflasks(seeISO1042);andgraduatedmeasuringcylinders(seeISO4788).Theproceduresarenotrecommendedfortestingofvolumetricinstrumentswithcapacitiesbelow0.1mlsuchasmicro-glassware.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotdealspecificallywithpyknometersasspecifiedinISO3507.However,theproceduresspecifiedbelowforthedeterminationofvolumeofglasswarecan,forthemostpart,alsobefollowedforthecalibrationofpyknometers.
