【摘要】:MeansforselectingandidentifyingnonrigidvinylchloridecompoundsareprovidedinTable1.Thepropertiesenumeratedinthistableandthetestsdefinedareexpectedtoprovideidentificationofthecompoundsselected.Theyarenotnecessarilysuitablefordirectapplicationindesignbecauseofdifferencesinshapeofpart,size,loading,environmentalconditions,etc.Onlywhenspecimensaremoldedinaccordancewith11.1.1cancomparativedatabeexpected.Thetestsselectedmaybeemployedforinspectionorqualitycontrolprovidedthattheyareperformedstrictlyinaccordancewiththeinstructionsgivenhereinandinthedesignatedmethodssothatextraneousvariablesareminimizedandresultsarereproducedwithinthelimitsofvariabilityofthematerialbeingexaminedandofthetestsusedforitsexamination.1.1Thisspecificationcoversnonrigidvinylchloridepolymerandcopolymerclassesinwhichtheresinportionofthecompositioncontainsatleast90%vinylchloride.Theremaining10%mayincludeoneormoremonomerscopolymerizedwithvinylchlorideorconsistofotherresinsmechanicallyblendedwithpolyvinylchlorideorcopolymersthereof.1.2Thesenonrigidvinylcompoundsaredefinedbyahardnessrangeandincludethenecessarystabilizers,plasticizers,fillers,dyes,andpigmentstomeetthedesignatedrequirements.1.3Thisspecificationincludesnonrigidvinylchloridecompoundsrecommendedforcompressionmolding,injectionmolding,andextrusion,butitmustberecognizedthatparticularcompoundsmaynotbesuitableforallthesemeansoffabrication.Note18212;Thisstandardissimilarincontent,butnottechnicallyequivalenttoISO2898-1:1986andISO2898-2:1989.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.6Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.1.7RecyclePVCplasticsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationmaybeusedinsomeapplications.RefertothespecificrequirementsintheMaterialsandManufacturesectionoftheapplicableproductstandard.
