【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesergonomicdesigncriteriafromahuman-machineperspectiveforthedesignandconstructionofmaritimevesselsandstructuresandforequipments,systems,andsubsystemscontainedtherein,includingvendor-purchasedhardwareandsoftware.Thefocusofthesedesigncriteriaisonthedesignandevaluationofhuman-machineinterfaces,includingtheinterfacesbetweenhumansontheonesideandcontrolsanddisplays,physicalenvironments,structures,consoles,panelsandworkstations,layoutandarrangementofshipspaces,maintenanceworkplaces,labelsandsignage,alarms,computerscreens,materialhandling,valves,andotherspecificequipmentsontheother.Thecriteriacontainedwithinthispracticeshallbeappliedtothedesignandconstructionofallhardwareandsoftwarewithinashipormaritimestructurethatthehumancrewmemberscomeincontactinanymannerforoperation,habitability,andmaintenancepurposes.Unlessotherwisestatedinspecificprovisionsofashipormaritimestructuredesigncontractorspecification,thispracticeistobeusedtodesignmaritimevessels,structures,equipment,systems,andsubsystemstofitthefullpotentialuserpopulationrangeof5th%femalesto95th%males.Thispracticeisdividedintothefollowingsectionsandsubsections:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
